Artist Statement
Although I have explored many subjects and techniques, I paint what I feel, not what is radical or expected. The women's movement has allowed me to get in touch with a side of myself that I had not experienced before. The expression of "female" imagery, such as flowers and household objects has enriched my painting and been a source of great personal satisfaction.
