PRESS RELEASE ( MARTHA'S VINEYARD): The Louisa Gould Gallery is delighted to announce a new in gallery art exhibit, ' Summer Stories' featuring the artwork of three distinguished artists, Jennifer C. McCurdy, Paul Beebe ASMA and Linda Besse. The show opens on July 8. The show is on view at the gallery during daily hours from 11 am to 5pm, by private appointment, and online at louisagould.com. 

Jennifer C. McCurdy is a world renowned ceramicist. Her fine art porcelain sculptures are in collections world-wide. Jennifer's studio is close to the Louisa Gould Gallery, and as such, is her local art dealer with access to the entire collection. At the gallery you will find a nice selection of pieces including the new Ratori design. Louisa Gould says, ' I love how Jennifer continually pushes her work and evolves the design..I am always amazed by her true artistry and dedication to her craft'. 

Linda Besse has won too many awards to mention, many on an international basis. She is renowned and regarded for her wild-life oil paintings. Linda is meticulous with her study of animals and detail overall. She studies her subjects so we can witness each feather and brush stroke. Linda paints with fine brushes and a magnifying glass. Linda spent all of her summers on Martha's Vineyard and spends time with family each year. 

Paul Beebe, ASMA, is a Signature member of the American Society of Maritime Artists. Paul's true love is the island. He spends a portion of each summer on the Vineyard, always with a paint brush in hand. Many of this paintings are from plein-air paintings. Paul's attention to the light on the water and land are magnificent. He translates the feeling of a sunrise and waves breaking on the beach. Ms. Gould says of Linda's paintings, 'You can almost feel the waves pounding on the beach and the ripple of a boat in the water'. 

The ' Summer Stories' show is dedicated to fine art realism and detail. Each artist is a true craftsman.
