Art with Heart: Louisa Gould Gallery Hosts Benefit to Support Island Grown Initiative
VINEYARD HAVEN, MA — July 2025
— The Louisa Gould Gallery is proud to announce its
annual Art Benefit for Island Grown Initiative (IGI), taking place
July 22–27, 2025. Ten percent of all artwork sales during this period will be donated directly to IGI to support its vital food programs across Martha’s Vineyard.
Join us for an
Opening Reception on
Tuesday, July 22, from 5:30–7:30 PM, where art lovers, supporters, and members of the IGI board and staff will gather in celebration of creativity and community care.
This special event continues Louisa Gould Gallery’s long-standing tradition of giving back. Now in its 22nd year, the gallery has become a cultural cornerstone on the island, representing over 50 local, regional, and national artists in a variety of mediums and styles—from contemporary paintings to bronze sculptures, ceramics, and glasswork.
“Food insecurity is rising, even in beautiful places like Martha’s Vineyard,” said Louisa Gould, gallery founder. “This benefit is a way to support both our local artists and a mission we deeply believe in—ensuring everyone in our community has access to nourishing food.”
