Carol Caradimos
Carol Caradimos is primarily a landscape artist devoted to plein air painting. She considers the natural light of the landscape her most important teacher. A copywriter turned artist, she first began working primarily in pastel, and later, also in oil. Carol also paints in nature for its sheer joy, and to challenge her character and preparedness through enduring the elements, including the rapidly changing conditions of light. Among other locales, Carol paints on Martha’s Vineyard, often interacting with everyone who ends up easel-side, and so believes that goodwill and brotherhood help comprise the tone of her work. Some of the greatest and most heartwarming encouragement she’s received has come from children, advising her to just “keep at it.” |
